Leah Edmondson Dyer completed her Bachelor’s in Music Education at Texas Christian University, where she became a certified music teacher. While at TCU, she played the part of Luisa in The Fantasticks, sang with the TCU Jazz Band, and performed with several jazz combos in the Fort Worth area. After graduating from TCU, she moved to Columbus, OH, where she received her Master’s Degree in Vocal Performance from The Ohio State University. While at Ohio State, Leah taught “Class Voice for Non-Majors” and had a private voice studio where she taught over twenty students.

While pursuing her degrees, she performed various operatic roles such as: Pamina/The Magic Flute, Calisto/La Calisto, and Tatiana/Eugene Onegin. She has performed solos in choral works such as the Mozart Requiem, Brahms’ A German Requiem, the Fauré Requiem, and Dvorak’s Stabat Mater. Most notable is her solo performance in Carnegie Hall with the New York Pops.

Out of all the things she has done so far, teaching private voice lessons still remains one of her strongest passions because she loves to see students grow as singers and people while developing a lifelong love of music.
